Parliament House in the City Center

Just like another reviewer, I too was redirected to a different location than the one advertised on the website. I received a message via WhatsApp a day before arrival informing me that the apartment had been changed, allegedly due to construction work affecting the hot water supply. I agreed to the swap. The new apartment was supposed to be bigger and better equipped than the one listed on Booking.com and located only about 300 metres from the original location. I assume the whole thing was premeditated and that I was essentially “catfished”, but I didn’t really mind in the end, as the price was definitely right. There were several issues with the place that I could nitpick about, but considering the price I paid, I really have no complaints. I do wish, however, that the owner had been more straightforward about the change from the beginning, as that would have saved me some unnecessary anxiety. Overall, it’s an option worth considering for budget-conscious travellers who don’t mind staying in a less touristy part of the city
