Lincoln Gem: Between Cathedral City - Pass the Keys

Location was great; the house was beautiful and felt homely. Everything was clean and well stocked with all the basic necessities and amenities.

It's a lovely old house, beautifully decorated. The furniture is comfortable, there's plenty of hot water and everything you need in the kitchen. We arrived to find the place perfectly clean and a basket of tea, coffee and milk sachets to welcome us. It is in the beautiful older part of Lincoln, high up by the cathedral and castle. It's in a quiet residential street but a very short walk from the centre of the tourist attractions.

We had a lot of trouble with door and window locks. We could not get the key to the back door to work at all despite many attempts. As both doors need a chubb key to open from the inside, this made us nervous about fire safety. A fire extinguisher and fire blanket were both clearly on display, however. Similarly there was a problem with the hinge of one window and others we couldn't open with the keys provided, which was a problem on hot nights. We reported these problems to the management company. They were very polite and responsive to messages, but the maintenance team never made it out to help during our stay.
