Felt straight at home, few little extra touches were nice

The location is very convenient and it is easy to get to the village and many of the nearby trails without having to drive. I loved being able to drink taiwanese tea, a highlight to this property. The house was decently clean; we arrived to fresh vacuum lines on the carpet. The host is super responsive and we were able to have a great time.

The house needs a reduction in clutter, it very much feels like an recently converted Airbnb. The kitchen is where I felt a bit grossed out. The fridge is full of leftover items and out-of-date items (ie. cheese kit that expired in March, leftover onions, freezer with leftover ice cream...). There were stains on some of the glassware. The pantry items are plentiful, but questionable given the state of the fridge. I feel like the host is offering a lot, but definitely needs to reduce the items down to staples and not offer so many of these leftover items. For example there was also a gift basket of snacks left outside of the door, but honestly it being placed outside with some of it placed on this mobile water fountain made it a bit questionable. The host also list many amenities, but I feel like there needs to be a house guide instruction book so that we can utilize it. Im not one to bother the host as much and I feel like I missed out.
