Wylde Roots River House - with natural river swimming pools

Our stay at Wyld Roots was truly amazing. The lovely stone house is modern on the inside, with a full kitchen, a comfortable bed, and a comfy living area and nice bathroom. The land is completely private and stunningly beautiful with multiple outdoor sitting areas, including hammocks, tables, and a swing and the lovely river with swimming access right outside your door. It is completely private, green and a true escape into nature. The hosts cared for us like family, and offering us total privacy, pleasant conversation or custom-made activities, all with no pressure at all if we wanted solitude. Alex and Greta are very sweet and interesting people and we enjoyed getting to know them. The location is convenient, with everything you need in Viseu just 15 minutes away, and there is a beautiful path for hiking or biking a short walk away. I 100% recommend staying here for a quiet, peaceful and healing stay in nature. I came with my 18 year old daughter and it was the perfect place for us to rest and reconnect to each other and to nature.

An amazing house in a magical place with a fabulous host. Tucked away with all the facilities you need, it is a perfect getaway with so much to offer in the surrounding area. Lots of outdoor space with a private river - not sure it could be any better.
