Lovely hotel where we thought we would be staying but we were sent up the road to a separate annexe , in the rain with our bags no view and on the road not what you expect when you are paying to stay in the hotel with the facilities on hand , and we were not in anyway informed of being put in this annexe on booking Disappointed

Must have stayed here 10 times. We love 1. the meadows, lovely grassed area with streams and river stour. Lovely duck/swan pond with views from our room. 2. Nice bar and restaurant. 3. Short walk to the town. Things for improvement. 4. Inside hotel pubic areas could do with some T L C . Breakfast, good choice but cooked food not always hot enough and plates cold where plate warmer not working.

Stayed for one night whilst visiting relatives. Parking fine but no lift and we we were on the 3rd floor and I have moblity problems I will know in future to request ground floor. The room was ok comfy bed but shower not brilliant and tv very small and couldn't get main channels. The hotel is in a lovely location nice bar area and breakfast very good buffet style.
