Taigh na Mara - Holiday Home in St Andrews by the Sea

We loved how clean and well proportioned this property was. Everything was so complimentary in terms of the decor and it felt really cohesively styled. The storage was surprising! I hadn’t expected there to be so much! Happy find! There were beautiful views and it was well positioned further into the park but still very close to the amenities. The wrap around balcony was such a pleasant addition and really enhanced the useable space. The furnishings were genuinely comfortable and well thought out for the space. The parking was ideal and the general positioning of the site made an excellent home base for us to explore St Andrew’s. Hosts left a basket of biscuits and various teas/coffees along with info about St Andrews and the property which was great. We already had brought things with us so we didn’t need them but it was a lovely touch. There were games and books that we discovered which the kids loved too. Would 100% stay here again. Hopefully we left it as clean as we found it! Oh and the shower was actually amazing.

We were lucky enough to be the very first guests to stay in this beautiful caravan and it truly set the bar high. Everything was immaculate - spotlessly clean with exceptionally fresh bedding and laundry, excellent facilities, and lovely matching crockery throughout. You can see the sea from the caravan and it’s only a short walk to the beach, making it a perfect coastal getaway. The host was incredibly attentive and welcoming, and every detail had clearly been thoughtfully prepared. We had a wonderful family stay and feel certain many happy memories will be made here. Highly recommended.
