2 Bedrooms Walkout Basement Apartment at centre Richmond hill

There was a key pad entry and the entry information was communicated well in advance. Location was convenient and the neighborhood was quiet. The bathroom was spacious, nicely finished and relatively clean. The kitchen was small but tidy. There was a nice washer and dryer, iron, hair dryer, rice cooker and coffee maker - although we didn't use them.

Thus unit is a 'walkout basement' which could be ok, but The path around the back of the house was narrow, the backyard where our entry was was not mowed, and the door to the unit was a dingy and uninviting. There wasn't an outside light at the door. The unit did not have heat unless the people upstairs were home and had the heat on. We were there for 3 cold and rainy days and the unit was cold most of the time. The unit was not finished well - some floor boards did not line up and there were big gaps. The bedding, pillows, curtains,, kitchen utensils etc.. were very basic. Some of the walls and trim could have used some paint. The kitchen range was old and scuffed up. I had to change my dates at the last minute and this was one of the few affordable options left ... at least we didn't pay alot.
