The studio is air-conditioned, well-equipped for a longer stay and has a nice balcony where you can have meals. It's in a closed, secure compound. Just across the street there is a well stocked grocery store offering, among other things, fresh baguettes, fruits and vegetables, and a good selection of wines. There is also a pleasant little restaurant. The studio is within easy distance from the beaches (regular as well as naturist), and mostly quiet. We didn't use the pool, but it seemed nice and well maintained.

I had the feeling some fixtures were held together by duct tape and prayer, e.g. the wall mounting for the shower head could not stay in a fixed position, which meant you had to hold it in one hand and try to soap yourself with the other somehow. There was no ceiling lamp in the bedroom, just a light switch on the wall. The bedroom itself was small, which meant one side of the bed had a bedside table, and the other side had a tiny wardrobe with no option for hanging clothes. Someone had given the place a quick clean-up, but we discovered the cutting board was encrusted with scraps of food, and the pine needles on the balcony were just swept in a corner. Also, we arrived to a measly 1/4 roll of toilet paper left by a previous guest, obviously. Not a nice feeling to arrive in the evening, and discover you need to go out to get loo roll and soap, and the shops are closing in half an hour. I would have been willing to overlook all of this, if it was not for the communication style of the management. I got a message requesting me to communicate time of arrival a couple of hours in advance on the day of arrival, which I did. There was no response. My message was "seen". We hung around the entrance for half an hour and when I called the lady, she informed me her colleague was on her way to let us in. We were shown a place to park our car and informed we should not change assigned parking spots. A week later, I discovered a note under my wiper saying we should vacate the spot as it has been assigned to another apartment. I wrote to the lady from the management, explaining the situation, no reply. "Seen". We got to talk to the guy who left the message, and who was assigned this parking spot by the same lady. He tried to call her, no reply. If you work in tourism, you cannot "ghost" your clients as if they were an intrusive ex-boyfriend.
