The external facilities include a shared kitchen equipped with a microwave, fridge/freezer, and kettle, a shared shower room, a private cloakroom, and a shared cloakroom. Outside, there is a non-enclosed wraparound garden with lawn and ample off-road parking. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Fuel, power, and bed linen inc. in rent. Wood Peckers Shepherds hut, your perfect base for exploring the surrounding national park. Note: Towels are not provided. Note: Children welcome over the age of 14, if arranged prior to booking. Note: Due to this property being in a dark skies area, the lighting is low and a torch to move around the site at night is advised. Note: Kettle and toaster in property. Note: Items left at own risk in the shared fridge/freezer. Note: Steps up to property entrance. On-site honesty shop selling a plethora of food and grocery items, household essentials, kindling, logs and BBQ items.

This wonderful North Yorkshire village rests on the fringes of the North York Moors National Park and is close to the coast. Burniston is famed for its dinosaur footprints found on the rocks in the village. It is served by a shop/Post Office and two traditional village pubs serving food. The North York Moors are heavenly for hikers and cyclists, with a vast landscape of paths, trails, and astounding scenery.
