The interior is completed by a sitting/dining room and a well-equipped kitchen. Outside there is a private courtyard and off-road parking, as well as shared use of a barbecue and garden furniture. Ticklepenny is a wonderful base for a rural retreat with loved ones.
The Neighborhood:
The beautiful historic market town of Louth is the capital of the Lincolnshire Wolds. The town offers Georgian streets with Grade II listed buildings, St James Church, a theatre, art deco cinema, museum, golf course, modern leisure centre complex, excellent shopping, including weekly market days and a vast assortment of eateries catering for all tastes. Nearby is Cadwell Park, which plays host to car, bike and kart racing. The Lincolnshire Wolds, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty features gentle rolling hills, quaint villages and superb cycling and walking routes. Just a short drive takes you to the coastal resorts of Cleethorpes, Mablethorpe and Sutton-on-Sea, plus Theddlethorpe Nature Reserve has miles of golden sandy beaches and amazing birdlife. Also for those interested in antiques Horncastle and Hemswell are nearby.
