The Croft near Alnwick, Northumberland sleeps six guests in three bedrooms.
The Space:
The living areas in the property consist of a sitting room with two sofas and a TV, an open-plan kitchen/diner with a TV, hob, oven and grill, a washing machine and tumble dryer and a conservatory with a TV. The bedrooms consist of two super-king-sizes, one with a TV and an en-suite shower room and one zip/link that can be made into a twin, and a children’s bunk bedroom along with a family bathroom. Outside, there is an enclosed rear garden with lawns, decking and a hot tub, with off-road parking for two cars. A shop is 0.4 miles away with the nearest pub 4 miles and please note this is a no smoking and no pet property. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the rent. The Croft is the perfect bolthole for a memorable trip to Northumberland.
The Neighborhood:
Alnwick's attractive and historic market town is dominated by Alnwick Castle, which is home to the Duke of Northumberland. The Castle Gardens, which opened in 2002, feature Europe's largest cascading water feature, a fantastic (and enormous) treehouse, a delightful rose garden, and a beautiful, walled ornamental garden that will delight both novice and experienced gardeners. The castle is also famous as the setting for Hogwarts School featured in the Harry Potter films!
