Cae Pren is a hand crafted, single-storey abode consisting of an open-plan living space including a kitchen with an electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge with freezer compartment, slimline dishwasher, hairdryer, a dining area, and a sitting area with Smart TV. The bedroom consists of a king-size bedroom with blackout curtains, along with a bathroom. Outside, there is off-road parking for one car, and a non-enclosed rear harden with private balcony, lawn, gravel, decking, and hot tub. Please note that this is a pet-free and smoke-free property. Highchair and travel cot available. Shop 2.8 miles, pub 1.1 miles. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. Cae Pren makes a charming base for a romantic getaway to Powys. Note: There are a few steps up to property, please take care. Note: There are a couple of steps down to garden. The town of Llanfair Caereinion is built upon the site of an old Roman fort, in the valley of the River Banwy. It is a thriving town built around The Church of St Mary, with a Post Office, two supermarkets, and a selection of three different pubs. The annual Llanfair Caereinion Carnival is very popular with locals, and proceeds through the town with a full parade of floats and dancing troupes, providing a Rio carnival atmosphere. There is a river walk along the banks of the Banwy leading to an Arboretum, containing over 25 different species of British trees, an ideal place to explore before stepping back in time and jumping on the start of the narrow gauge heritage steam railway that runs 8.5 miles west to Welshpool.
