The cottage features a mostly single-level layout, suitable for guests with limited mobility, though there are a few steps to the front porch and a step down into the living room. Great stay. The vibe of the neighbors was very sad. (Never saw them thankfully) Huge security gates and cameras. Gone are the days of being neighborly and welcoming to people. In my 50s and past the partying age. Feel bad for the rental people having to deal with this sense of entitlement in a country/foothill setting.

This was a cute house, directions left out a step so it was a little difficult to find. There were a lot of items in disrepair, kitchen faucet, warped pans, pans with coating peeling, odd smell. It was very hot while we were there, we were aware before hand that there was no a/c, but very few of the windows had screens so we were unable to open windows to cool off. There was excellent wifi so it seemed unfortunate that the tv was an old box tv only capable of vhs and dvd. The bed was very hard and we had an ant invasion in the bathroom the night before we left. The area was nice, close to what we were there for. River is beautiful but difficult to get to the water.
