It was my first trip to Sri Lanka and the first hotel I stayed at with my friends. The weather was awful that day as the strongest cyclone, Ditva, had hit the island, bringing a fierce storm and torrential rain. We were really tired after the long flight and just wanted to rest in comfort. The room was quite clean with a fascinating view of the ocean and an amazing balcony. The hotel is located on Matara Road, so there's heavy traffic there. A Carghills supermarket is in front of the hotel and there are several tiny restaurants nearby. The hotel’s location is very convenient, as it is situated exactly halfway between Galle and Unawatuna. Getting to either city takes about 10 minutes by tuk-tuk and 40 minutes on foot. The beach is a picturesque bay - clean and not crowded. It’s actually a great place to try surfing (though the lessons are quite expensive, with above-average prices). The breakfast wasn't bad and was included in the Agoda rate. The hotel staff were extremely professional and polite. They helped us adapt to the island’s environment and fulfilled all our requests with a smile – thank you for that. In conclusion, the hotel is absolutely gorgeous. I would love to come back soon.

Good hotel to stay a night, calm and quiet, as they don’t have bar. Couple of things to mention, they didn’t provide any toothbrush, paste, shampoo, shower gel and conditioner. Their food price is excessively higher than others. Additional 10% service charges applicable for food which they didn’t mention while ordering. Breakfast is complimentary but they didn’t provide any water/juice/tea.

New Building, Clean but Smells pf Paint, No Service, No Amenities, Restaurant Has Flies. Breakfast Has Limited Options. The staffs are friendly and helpful. But for the money, it’s not worth it.

Room was neat and clean, but it does not match with the price.
Room wifi was not working.
Bed mattress was noisy.
Small washroom, without proper toiletries
Breakfast was poor according to the price.
Overall it was not a good option to stay.
