The living areas in this cottage consist of a kitchen, and a living/dining room with electric fire. Appliances include an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washer/dryer, and a Smart TV. There is a double and a twin bedroom, both serviced by en-suite shower rooms, and a ground-floor wet room. Outside there is a courtyard with a gravelled area with seating, along with off-road parking for one car. Within 2.8 miles, you will find a shop, and within 7.2 miles, a pub. Please note, this property welcomes three well-behaved dogs, but is non-smoking. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen, and towels are all included in the rent. The Neighborhood:
This pleasant village lies in the beautiful Tanat Valley at the foot of the Berwyn Mountains, only 4 miles from one of the Seven Wonders of Wales - the magnificent Pistyll Rhaeadr (240 ft high waterfall). Llanrhaeadr-ym-Mochnant was the location for the successful film, The Englishman Who Went Up A Hill But Came Down A Mountain, and more recently the film Nativity 2 starring David Tennant. The village boasts two general stores, a newsagent, a Post Office, a butchers, three pubs, a café, a fish and chip shop, and an Indian takeaway. It is surrounded by stunning countryside, providing walking trails for all abilities including the Berwyn Ridge Walk and a trail to the summit of the waterfall. Discover Lakes Vyrnwy and Bala, the National Trust Powis and Chirk Castles, medieval Shrewsbury and Chester and the wonderful Snowdonia National Park.
