Dove Cottage is a delightful reverse-level cottage and can sleep two people in one bedroom.
Dove Cottage consists of a first-floor open-plan living area with a kitchen with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, dining seating for four people and a sitting room with Smart TV. There is a ground-floor double bedroom with en-suite bathroom. Outside there is a front, enclosed garden with lawn and seating, as well as ample off-road parking. Within 1.4 miles, you will find a shop, and within 1.3 miles, a pub, and please note that this is a non-smoking property. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. Two well-behaved pets are welcome. Care to be taken downstairs due to low beamed ceilings. There is a small stream in the area, pets and children to be supervised. There are lots of walks, cycling opportunities and unspoilt villages in the surrounding North Pennines Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, which is an ideal location for exploring the surrounding countryside or travelling further north to the glorious Heritage Coastline. Allendale is home to the New Year tradition of Tar Bar'ls well worthing seeing or visit in the autumn to visit the Allen Valleys Folk Festival. Furthermore Allendale is a popular stay for cyclists carrying out the Coast to Coast.
