The Space:
Little Tern has two king-size bedrooms with one en-suite bath, shower over, basin and WC, and one en-suite walk-in shower, basin, heated towel rail and WC. There's a cloakroom with basin and WC. There’s a kitchen/diner, with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washer/dryer, dishwasher and a sitting room. WiFi, fuel and power, bed linen and towels are included in the rent. Outside there’s an enclosed front garden with gravelled area, patio and furniture, and off-road parking for 2 cars. One well-behaved dog welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Nearest shop and pub in 0.6 miles. Little Tern is a coastal retreat in Seahouses. Note: Check-in is from 4pm, check-out by 10am.
The Neighborhood:
A bustling, pretty fishing village with an attractive harbour, situated on the beautiful Northumbrian coast in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Seahouses offers a variety of shops and a good selection of inns, pubs and eating places. Nearby are miles and miles of splendid sandy beaches and the opportunity to visit the bird sanctuary or seal colony on the famous Farne Islands with boat trips running daily from Seahouses, not to be missed. The Northumberland Coast Path offers stunning walking and hiking opportunities where you can soak in the scenic coastal trails with breath-taking views, whilst the nearby Seahouses Golf Club offers a wonderful spot to practice your swing or play a round or two amidst the coastal backdrop. There are numerous castles and great houses to explore, such as the magnificent castles at Bamburgh, Cragside, and Alnwick, well-known for its appearances in the much-loved Harry Potter films, to mention just a few.
