    For our stay scheduled for 26–27 May 2026, I made a reservation at your Ramada Encore by Wyndham Midyat hotel through Agoda, with confirmation number ***. On 16 May 2026, during the booking process, I noticed a warning on Agoda stating that “only one person can stay in this room.” Since I intended to stay with my wife, I specifically called your hotel on the same day at 18:23 to confirm that this would not cause any issues. During that phone call, the receptionist informed me that your hotel did not have such a restriction and that, if I completed the reservation, two people would be able to stay in the room without any problem. Relying on this information, I proceeded with the booking. Later that same day, at 18:33, I received a call from your hotel confirming that the reservation had been successfully completed and that my wife and I could stay together. However, when we arrived at the hotel today to check in, we were informed that the reservation was for only one guest. As a result, an additional charge of *** for a second guest was collected from my credit card. Consequently, I was required to pay *** through Agoda and an additional *** at the hotel, resulting in a significantly higher total cost. This is despite the fact that I had been clearly informed during the phone conversations that two people could stay in the room and that no additional charge would be required. The issue here is not merely financial. What is most concerning is that, despite the clear information provided to me beforehand, we encountered a completely different practice upon arrival and were consequently placed in an unfair and inconvenient situation. This experience has seriously undermined our trust in your hotel. I believe that the telephone conversations may have been recorded. If so, I respectfully request that the relevant recordings be reviewed in order to verify the discrepancy between the information provided over the phone and the procedure applied at check-in. Furthermore, I request a refund of the *** that I believe was unfairly charged. I look forward to your prompt response and resolution of this matter. Sincerely,
