Venture away from the grounds and enjoy all the amenities the local area has to offer. Explore the grounds of Belvoir Castle, the ancestral home of the Duke of Rutland’s family, 16 miles away. On sunny days, enjoy a game of tennis at the Grantham Tennis Club or visit Sleaford Castle, built in the 12th century, just 7 miles away. In Ancaster, you’ll find the Viking Way Walking Route (7 miles) while the village of Heckington (12 miles) is home to the only 8-sailed windmill in the world.
