Visit the Nine Standards Rigg (4 miles) providing breath-taking hiking opportunities and the tranquil Smardale Gill Nature Reserve (3 miles) ideal for birdwatching and leisurely walks. The Yorkshire Dales is on your doorstep where you can explore the dramatic landscapes of High Force Waterfall, the beautiful Aysgarth Falls and the picturesque village of Hawes, all within 25 miles. The Lake District is also just a short drive away and can be reached within 18 miles.

Outside, the cottage boasts a charming front patio area with bench seating where you can relax and watch the world go by. The side of the cottage leads directly onto the riverbank, offering a perfect spot for a picnic, feeding the ducks, or dipping your toes in the cool waters of the River Eden. There is also off-road parking for 1 car.
