This wildlife-rich Site of Special Scientific Interest beckons eager climbers with dramatic gritstone edges and breathtaking views, while Chrome Hill and Parkhouse (9 miles) provide rewarding hikes across the ‘Dragon’s Back’ ridge. Thorpe Cloud (11.5 miles) rises beside Dovedale’s famous steppingstones for a gentler stroll.
