Relish glorious countryside views as you enjoy a BBQ on your terrace and watch the little ones play on the lawn. For large gatherings of friends or families looking to make special memories, this elegant and spacious property has it all: on-site facilities that include swimming and tennis, plus plenty to do nearby, from wonderful beaches to golf, walks and family attractions.
This beautifully converted former hay barn is set over three storeys, with the living space in the middle and bedrooms above and below. Head first for the bright and spacious lounge, where comfortable seating is ready for good conversation, curling up with a book or streaming a film on the Smart TV. The long, thin kitchen contains an array of appliances, including a wine fridge, ideal for any creative cook. It leads to the triple-aspect dining room, which boasts gorgeous views and a large table for convivial meals. On the lower-ground floor, there’s a family bedroom with an en-suite shower, a double bedroom and a bathroom. The top floor, which has characterful rugged beams and sloping ceilings (some of them low in places) features another family bedroom, a double bedroom with an en-suite, a twin bedroom and a family bathroom. From your terrace you can enjoy spectacular vistas while relaxing with a BBQ. There’s also a sloping garden and parking for three cars. Guests can use the shared facilities on the farm, which has 10 acres of land to explore.
There’s plenty to do in the area, including a host of incredible beaches within 15 miles. Children will love Woodlands Family Theme Park only 5 miles away. Also Paignton Zoo, 14 miles and the National Marine Aquarium Plymouth within 25 miles. For intriguing shops and great places to eat within 11 miles (don’t forget a cream tea), head to Kingsbridge, Dartmouth or Salcombe.
