About this cottage rental
While away hours at a time gazing out towards the golden sands of Woolacombe Beach from this group holiday home in beautiful coastal Devon. Sleeping eight guests, the four-bedroom abode offers sumptuous, stylish accommodation in an enviable location with panoramic views. From here amble just 0.5 miles down to the sand to swim or surf. Pick up the South West Coast Path and follow it for a stretch. Plan long walks through picturesque Exmoor National Park, 5.5 miles away.
Return from days on the beach and trips out across Devon to leave your walking boots or flip-flops in the hall. Spread out into the chic open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, which has beamed ceilings and a flagstone floor, to really make the most of the space and the different sections. Open the French doors on summer days or recline on one of the two comfortable seating areas, each with a Smart TV, during the autumn or winter months. Challenge each other to table football tournaments and take turns at whipping up delicious holiday meals to enjoy at the table. A king-size bedroom and a twin can also be found on the ground floor, together with a family shower room and a utility room. Another twin and a super-king-size, with far-reaching views, are up on the first floor, together with a family bathroom. From up here you can also access the fabulous balcony, where you can enjoy a cup of coffee or a chilled glass of fizz on fine mornings and evenings. Enjoy the space offered by the terrace too, where you can cook out on the BBQ and lose yourselves in the sea views.
Make trips into Ilfracombe, 5 miles away, to spend time on the historic Tunnels Beaches. You can also potter in the interesting shops, dine out and visit the aquarium. The impressive sands of Woolacombe Beach are half a mile away for enjoying great beach days, but there are even more wonderful beaches along this coast including Croyde Beach, Saunton Sands and Grunta Beach, all within 8 miles.
