Sleeping four people across two bedrooms, this home is the perfect accommodation option for small families or groups of friends in search of a traditional cottage to call home while they experience an unforgettable getaway on the Cornish coast together. During the day, wander around the charming fishing village of Port Isaac. If you''re a fan of the TV show, Doc Martin, you''ll recognize the village as the fictional ‘Portwenn''. In the evening, come home to the cottage''s pretty patio and enjoy an al fresco dinner with your loved ones.
From the picturesque porch, step inside and you''ll be greeted by a cosy lounge area that boasts a beautiful blend of period features, modern styling and plenty of natural light. Take a moment to relax beside the inviting wood burner in the unique inglenook fireplace before heading to the sleek kitchen to show off your culinary skills. Gather everyone together to eat at the smart, country-style dining table, or head out onto the patio to enjoy an al fresco meal. After dinner, head back to the lounge area to catch up on your favourite TV shows beside the crackling wood burner. At the end of the day, make your way upstairs and you''ll find two lovely bedrooms: one elegant king-size room and one charming twin. In the morning, wake up and refresh in the modern family bathroom with a shower over the bath, which is located just off the kitchen.
Grab your walking boots and head off to the dramatic Pentargon Waterfall (7.5 miles), which cascades 120 feet down the rugged cliffs into the sea below. Alternatively, check out the superb sparkling wines at the idyllic Camel Valley Vineyard (13 miles). Treat yourself to a tasting on the terrace while you soak up the views over the River Camel.
