About this cottage rental

Soak up the awesome views at this stunning stone cottage in a peaceful spot above the coast near Ravenscar. Perfect for the whole family, it has a beautiful garden with a large patio and summerhouse, a gorgeous ground floor king-size bedroom and bathroom, and a paddock where your canine companion can sniff out adventure.

The cottage is beautifully presented with original features complemented by stylish design and high-end furnishings. Step inside the beautiful dining room where you’ll make happy memories over family meals; the pup will love the wood burner and there’s a TV for teatime. You can also eat at the breakfast bar, which has exquisite views, in the well-appointed kitchen. Snuggle up on the sofa in the cosy living room with a Smart TV and throw open the French doors on warm evenings. The luxurious king-size bedroom is on the ground floor (steps down to this), it's lovely and light with French doors to the patio, and a stunning en-suite bathroom. Upstairs are two further bedrooms, a cute single and a pretty twin, as well as a gorgeous shower room. Enjoy the sunshine and views from the patio and decked area, sit in the summerhouse and look out to sea, and give Fido a run in the paddock.

Wander down the cliff trail to see the seal colony on the beach, pick up The Cleveland Way footpath and The Cinder Track for walks and bike rides, both pass close to the cottage. Explore Ravenscar, once intended to rival Scarborough it became known as ‘the town that never was’. Visit Whitby’s Abbey and 199 Steps (15.5 miles), spend a day pottering around Robin Hood’s Bay (a 4-mile walk or 11-mile drive) and walk from the beach to Boggle Hole (1 mile), once a smugglers’ haunt.
