About this cottage rental
Escape to this enticing former barn that takes in magnificent views across its undulating Yorkshire Dales surroundings. Sleeping seven guests, and welcoming a canine companion, the three-bedroom holiday home nestles in the quiet village of Burtersett, 1.5 miles from the small market town of Hawes. Creatively converted, it offers modern interiors, where you can unwind together after your busy days out, and an outdoor seating area for summer relaxation.
Take a step down to let yourselves into the barn and to find yourselves in the spacious lounge/diner. Spend peaceful evenings in together here, catching up on your favourite boxsets on the Smart TV or making plans for the following day. A step down leads to a twin room, with no external window, and a family shower room. A further three steps down will take you to the chic kitchen/diner, where you can cater for your party and sit down to eat together at the table. Climb the oak and glass staircase up to the first floor to lay your head in the king-size bedroom, which has a Juliet balcony, or the triple bedroom that can be made up as three singles or one single and a super-king-size, by prior request. Both these bedrooms have en-suite shower rooms. Have a cup of tea at the table outside after your walks and find space to store your cycles here too. Parking for this cottage in on the street, subject to availability.
Walk into Hawes to browse in the shops, take refreshment in a pub or cafe and visit the famous Wensleydale Creamery. Visit Cotter Force waterfall, 4 miles away, and stroll beside the River Ure. Plan a day out to famous Aysgarth Falls, 9 miles from the barn, as well. Semer Water Nature Reserve, 2.5 miles away, is also well worth visiting.
