About this cottage rental
This single-storey property enjoys a lovely location within the grounds of a working farm and set within metres of the sand dunes and expansive beach. Enjoy shoreline strolls with views across Embleton Bay, taking in the glorious ruins of Dunstanburgh Castle. Take the coastal path to beautiful Beadnell Bay and a beach walk to the fishing village at Craster gives you time to wind down and talk. Call at the nature reserve and head back to the charming village, where you have a choice of two good pub/restaurants for lunch or evening meals. You can drive to nearby Alnwick Castle and famous Gardens, the magnificent Bamburgh Castle, Seahouses’ bustling harbour and take a boat trip to the Farne Islands.
Two steps lead up into the dual aspect, open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner with high ceilings and exposed beams adding to the sense of light and space. The kitchen is well appointed with an island where you can chat with the cook with a drink and offers everything you will need to prepare your meals with an electric oven and gas hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave and a washer/dryer. Enjoy meals together sitting at the dining table then relax in the lounge on the comfortable sofas watching your favourite programmes on the Smart TV/DVD or listen to some music on the mini Hi-Fi before bedtime. A hallway off the lounge leads to the three bedrooms. The generous master bedroom has a king-size bed with plenty of storage and an en-suite shower room with WC and the two other bedrooms are twin rooms. The bathroom has a ‘P’ shaped bath with a shower over so you can relax in a bubble bath or take a refreshing shower.
Outside, a glazed door leads out onto the raised, decked balcony where you can eat alfresco on warm days or sit with a drink at the end of the day. Steps lead down onto the shared lawned areas. Shared children's play area with swings, slide and climbing frame. Parking is outside the property for two cars with plenty of space available for additional cars nearby.
