Cottage in England
Reasons to book
About this cottage rental
Step inside this enchanting holiday home to find an interior that brings together magical original features with sumptuous, antique furniture and furnishings. Head through to the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner to unpack the fresh produce you have bought and put the kettle on for a cup of tea. Unwind together in this friendly space as you catch up on your day and make plans for tomorrow. Cook on the Aga during the winter months, then gather round the table for your celebratory feasts. Sink back into the sofa in here or head through to the elegant lounge to light the wood burner and choose a book or game. There is also a Smart TV, together with a DVD player and a selection of DVDs. Also downstairs are a useful utility area and a workspace in the hall. The family bathroom, where you can choose between a bath and a shower, is also at this level. Climb the small staircase up to the first floor to enjoy a superb night’s sleep in either of the super-king-size bedrooms, both with good storage, or the twin. Each of these cosy spaces can also be arranged the other way round if discussed in advance. There is also a WC up here.
The wonderful garden at this cottage really comes into its own during the warmer months. Dine out here as you admire the established planting. Play games with the little ones on the lawn or take them through the back gate to the village play area. There is a shed for storing your outdoor gear. Parking is on the street, subject to availability.
