Explore the town’s sweeping promenade before you hit the beach, perhaps stopping for fish and chips or to savour an ice cream as you stroll along the Victorian pier. For more seaside bliss, the charming town of Sheringham is just 4.5 miles away and plays host to the popular North Norfolk Railway – board a steam train and follow the Poppy Line for a scenic 5-mile journey to Holt. Other nearby attractions include the Shire Horse Sanctuary and historic Felbrigg House with its pretty, walled gardens (both within 3 miles).
