This delightful character cottage in Hawes offers a warm retreat in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales that is ideally placed for exploring both countryside and sleepy village life. Set in a peaceful position with far-reaching views, it’s under 500 metres from the cobbled streets of Hawes centre, where you can browse the weekly market and sample homemade cakes in cosy cafes. Keen walkers can step straight onto the Pennine Way, enjoy stretches of the Dales Way, or take scenic paths leading to Hardraw Force (2 miles) and Aysgarth Falls (10 miles). If you fancy attractions nearby, the renowned Wensleydale Creamery is just 0.5 miles away and is a must for cheese-lovers or discover the area's history at the Dales Countryside Museum (under 1 mile). Further afield, go squirrel spotting at Snaizeholme (4 miles) while taking in incredible scenery.


Enter into this spacious retreat and find yourselves in the farmhouse-style kitchen/diner with a feature exposed stone wall and a central eight-seater dining table. The kitchen is equipped with all the amenities, including a washing machine, making laundry a breeze. At the heart of the cottage, the kitchen flows into a snug where you can share a chat with the cook or curl up with a coffee in front of the Smart TV. Upstairs, four characterful bedrooms await: three inviting king-size rooms (two with en-suite bathrooms) and a cosy twin with stunning views across the Dales.
