Whether you’re a history lover or craving a coastal break, this stylish raised ground-floor apartment perched on the west cliff in Whitby makes a great base for exploring this iconic seaside town. Perfectly positioned just steps away from the cliff edge, this enviable spot in Whitby is truly breathtaking. From the doorstep, join the scenic footpath to wind your way down to Whitby Beach, less than half a mile away; fascinating rock pools, towering cliffs and golden sands await. Peruse Whitby’s quirky cobbled streets filled with independent shops, cafes and restaurants to find some of this area’s best local produce. A visit to Whitby isn’t complete without exploring Whitby Abbey (1 mile), famously associated with Bram Stoker’s Dracula, reached via climbing the 199 steps, which offer panoramic views of the town and harbour. The gloriously golden stretches of Robin Hood’s Bay or Runswick Bay are reached within 8.5 miles.
