A charming and attractively presented barn conversion 4 miles from Aylsham and North Walsham, two of the many traditional market towns dotted around North Norfolk. Perfectly positioned for small families or groups keen to explore the countryside and the North Norfolk Heritage Coast, this one-storey barn features an open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, two beautifully-appointed bedrooms and an attractive shingle garden.
Located down a quiet country lane and overlooking vast swathes of arable farmland, this flint stone and red brick barn makes a huge impression as you sweep into its large driveway. Vaulted ceilings are a dominant feature of its fresh and contemporarily furnished rooms, with natural light pouring in from all sides. The open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner is comfortable and practical, with plenty of room for guests to spread themselves around while enjoying good company, food and entertainment. The double and twin bedrooms have an individual character all of their own, as does the vibrant family bathroom nearby. The enclosed shingle garden is an attractive place to read and relax under the sun, enjoy a BBQ supper or just soak up the stunning surroundings.
It’s a lovely 0.5 mile stroll or cycle ride into the centre of Swanton Abbott, a place to enjoy a drink or stock up on essentials. Aylsham and North Walsham (4 miles) are market towns that offer a traditional Norfolk welcome, while Wroxham (5 miles) is known as the capital of The Broads. The sandy beaches and golf courses at Cromer and Mundesley (within 9 miles) are popular with visitors, as are the historic streets of Norwich (14 miles).
