About this cottage rental
Take a 5 minute boat ride on our 14 foot aluminum boat and arrive at our cottage the ROCK that boasts some east coast charm. This is a unique experience on one of the cleanest lakes in Ontario. Our lake connects Salmon River, Crotch Lake, Bull Lake and Buck Lake. Nestled in trees with southern exposure. Our boat is included in the rental but a boaters licence is mandatory.
The swimming and fishing are both amazing right off our dock. Feel free to take the canoe, kayak or paddle-board to explore. The fish in our lake are Smallmouth Bass, Largemouth Bass, Northern Pike, and Black Crappie, with some opportunities for walleye or musky.
Our cottage boasts a large deck off of the cottage. A private deck in the trees and an observatory deck watching over the water. We also have a huge rock that provides privacy amongst the mature trees.
Our cottage has a compost toilet that has zero smell and works really well. There are simple directions that must be followed for the toilet to work which will be provided in your renters guide closer to your stay.
Rental includes our boat and the directions will be provided in the renters guide. It is a 14 foot boat with electric start 9.9 motor.
Parking your vehicle at the launch where you load the boat is free.
Key code will be provided in the rental guide.
Garbage must be taken with you when you leave. Directions will be provided in the guide.

We do try to stock as much for our guests to lessen the heavy lugging however we are always booked solid and we do not have room for the amount of linen that would be required. You will need to bring fitted, flat sheet, pillow cases, towels and facecloths.***
Firewood if there is any left at the fire pit can be used however we do not supply fire wood. There is lots of wood that can be collected behind the property or you may bring your own. Fire pit instructions will be included in the renters guide.
