I spoke briefly to some of the staff while I was there. It is evident that they are trying to take an old, beat up hotel, and turn it into a decent business. The location at the end of the two line is fantastic. It is almost a 50 minute train ride Into Manhattan, but it is very easy. The rooms were clean and simple. They do need to provide some night lamps and a little bit more in each of the rooms. But it was obvious they were doing their best to keep things clean and tidy. The bed was excellent. I slept like a rack. Unfortunately, I think the neighborhood is a little sketchy, but they are doing their best with what they have.
