Hotel Vilmaris Breeze

We stayed at Hotel Vilmaris Breeze (located on Candolim-Calangute Sinquerim Road, opposite Jambleshwar Temple in Gaura Waddo) and had a very pleasant, comfortable experience in the Deluxe Double Bed room. The hotel sits in a convenient spot between Candolim and Calangute. Candolim Beach is roughly a 10–12 minute walk away, and you’re well-placed for exploring both beach areas, restaurants, and local shops. It’s not right on the sand, but the short walk is easy and the surroundings feel relatively peaceful compared to the busier main strips. The Deluxe Double Bed room was clean, air-conditioned, and comfortably sized for two. The double bed was soft and supportive with good-quality linens. Amenities included a flat-screen TV, work desk, dining area, tea/coffee maker, free Wi-Fi, and a private bathroom with free toiletries. Everything felt well-maintained and functional. The room was quiet and peaceful — a nice place to relax after a day out. Staff stood out as a highlight. They were consistently friendly, attentive, and helpful (several guests specifically praised the hospitality). Check-in was smooth, and requests were handled promptly. The outdoor swimming pool was clean and inviting — a real plus in the Goan heat. There’s also an on-site restaurant serving Indian, Chinese. For the location, cleanliness, comfort of the Deluxe Double room, and the quality of service, it felt like good value. We would happily return and recommend it for couples or anyone looking for a comfortable mid-range stay near Candolim/Calangute without being right in the thick of the busiest beach crowds.

Rooms are comparatively small with basic amenities - Small wardrobe, study table, electric kettle and fridge. Linens are clean.. big issue no balcony or open window. Pool is of decent size.. didn't choose for breakfast so can't comment on food. In off season you can get this property around 1500-1600 excluding breakfast

Hotel Vilmaris Breeze looks stunning and is genuinely well-designed — no complaints on aesthetics or cleanliness. But the staff experience was poor. Barring Rajesh, who was consistently professional and courteous, most staff members were rude, cold, and unhelpful — barely making eye contact with guests. Far worse, the pool area was completely unmonitored: outsiders (not hotel guests) were seen drinking openly and behaving inappropriately with women around the pool, in full view of families with young children. This is a serious safety and decency issue that hotel management needs to address urgently. To add to the frustration, when I lost my room key, different staff quoted me different charges (₹500 and ₹800) with no clear policy — reflecting how disorganized things are behind the front desk. A beautiful property being let down by careless management and zero staff accountability. Won't be returning unless this changes."
