This charming stone-built cottage on the breathtaking Llyn Peninsula is a fantastic base for large families or groups of friends. The cosy home sleeps eight guests and is well situated to explore the dramatic coast and countryside of North Wales.
After rambling adventures in the Welsh countryside, make your way inside this inviting property and find yourself curling up in front of the crackling wood burner in the cosy dining room. When it comes to whipping up family feasts, head into the modern kitchen, where you'll discover a range of appliances for your convenience, as well as a utility room for throwing muddy walking boots into. Gather for celebratory meals and quick bites to eat in the dining room before reclining on the L-shaped sofa in the lounge. Flick on the Smart TV and catch your favourite shows, or tinkle on the ivories of the piano. Four tasteful bedrooms cater for a variety of visitors, including three double rooms, one of which boasts an en-suite shower room, and a restful bunk bedroom that little ones will love. Finishing off the first floor is the well-appointed family bathroom. After a great night's sleep, the adults can sip a cup of tea while the children let off steam in the enclosed gardens or, perhaps, play badminton with the provided equipment. Ample private parking is also available.
Head off on exciting rambles and uncover the rolling fields and ancient stone walls of Rhydyclafdy (2.5 miles) or take on the dramatic scenery of the Llyn Coastal Path (5 miles) – this route is rich with wildlife, so don't forget your binoculars! As well as a wealth of walks close by, a day trip to the peninsula's renowned beaches is highly recommended, with Abersoch, LLanbedrog, Machroes, and Traeth Porth Ceiriad all within 8 miles.
