The staff was great, the room was very basic, little windows on top of room where only noise from each side of the isles came in all night from people returning from the bars. Room was in the middle of the building, kind like cruise cabin with not view at all. It was ok for us for only one night. Found cheaper with swimming pool a block away.

We were unsure about this place but it it had fantastic ratings so we for it. It’s the first hostel we’ve stayed in and that must be the reason it’s so well thought of.
Compared to hotels we’ve stayed in around Thailand it didn’t have anywhere near the facilities and many hotels were even cheaper.
the staff were lovely and the location is good if you’re staying in Lamai.
The room itself was pretty awful. The bed took up basically whole room and was very uncomfortable, the sheets didn’t fit and if one of us moved the other would bounce. There were 4 hangars for all our clothes and no shelves. The room had a couple of windows but they only go to the hallway which means you can hear whenever somebody goes by.
Having said that if you were in a hostel room and there to make friends go for it. If you want a touch of comfort then look elsewhere
