About this cottage rental
This beautifully renovated Grade II listed cottage still features the original coach arch, making for a stylish arrival. Inside, you’ll find a spacious open-plan living space with a lounge area, a modern kitchen with tasteful navy units, and a circular dining table for tucking into meals together. The electric stove sets you up for cosy film nights with your loved ones close by. When it’s time to turn in, head upstairs to a double bedroom with an en-suite shower and a flexible king-size zip-and-link room – all finished with exposed beams and stonework for that lovely rustic touch. Outside, the enclosed front garden with picnic bench sets you up for alfresco bites in good weather, while at the back, you’ll have a courtyard garden with outdoor seating and a handy shower for rinsing sandy feet (and paws!). Two private parking spaces are provided. Please note: this traditional cottage does have a few steep steps outside.
There’s plenty to explore nearby – you could follow the famous Pembrokeshire Coast Path from the village – head north to reach Broad Haven (1 mile), with its cafes and sandy stretch, or south for a wilder walk to Marloes Sands (8 miles). Wildlife lovers should pencil in a boat trip to Skomer Island, home to puffins, seals and dolphins. History fans, meanwhile, can explore Pembroke Castle (14 miles), the birthplace of Henry VII, or marvel at the stunning St Davids Cathedral (16 miles), set in Britain’s smallest city.
