About this house rental
A hidden gem tucked away in a beachside paradise in South Gippsland. Just a five-minute stroll brings you to one of the region’s most breathtaking beaches—perfect for swimming, exploring caves and rock pools, or enjoying scenic coastal walks.
Whether indoors or out, the views are truly amazing from Walkiez.
In summer, stretch out on the outdoor beanbags and soak up the sea air; in winter, pour a drink and cosy up by the log fire. The spacious kitchen is ideal for shared meals, while fast Starlink Wifi keeps both little kids and big kids entertained.
There’s something here for everyone—including your furry family members.
Well behaved pets are very welcome. Please be mindful that the property is not fenced and local wildlife is abundant. The only contained space is the deck area upstairs. Follow local beach regulations during busy periods. For off-leash fun head to Ned Neale's dog beach in nearby Sandy Point.
Upstairs:
Master king bedroom with spacious ensuite
Open-plan living, dining and kitchen area which leads you out onto the deck.
Downstairs (ground floor):
1 king bedroom
1 queen bedroom
2 sets of single bunk beds (sleeps 4)
Large family bathroom with a separate bath.
Second lounge area with TV and a sofa.
An outdoor hot-and-cold shower off the back deck is perfect after a swim at the beach.
Linen supplied by Linen on Loan. Please note the linen will be delivered to the front door.
Remember to pack your beach towels.
Walkerville has two areas, separated by a steep cliff. Walkerville South has a beautiful half-moon beach, great for swimming, especially with young kids. The beach is bookended by rock pools, and giant rocks and caves for clambering. Remnants of the lime kilns can be seen from the beach. This beautiful beach was the inspiration for the much-loved children's classic, Magic Beach by Alison Lester.
Walkerville North boasts picturesque views toward Wilsons Promontory with good swimming, surfing and fishing spots. As the tide retreats, rock pools are revealed along the rocky shoreline. You will also find the Walky Kiosk at the entrance to the foreshore camping reserve, you must try a walky burger!
While the property is fully furnished and well equipped, it may not have all appliances and equipment you may be used to using. We apologise if this causes inconvenience
