About this cottage rental
This bright cottage is wonderfully presented and furnished in contemporary style, with a lovely use of colour. The airy lounge houses comfortable sofas and armchairs, with a wood burner-effect electric fire. A separate dining room is ideal for evening meals, with a breakfast table tucked into the impressive kitchen. Head upstairs to the family bathroom and three charming bedrooms. They comprise a king-size, with an en-suite shower room, a twin which can be made into a super-king-size, and a single, which can also house a junior bed on request. You have your own pretty garden, with a large patio and outdoor furniture. In the shared garden, children can help feed the animals, including pygmy goats, collect eggs and explore the 8-acre site.
Shop for local produce at the historic, twice-weekly Pannier Market in Torrington, where you can also pick up the long-distance Tarka Trail, a favourite for walkers and cyclists. The Plough Arts Centre offers events the whole family can enjoy, from music to drama and workshops. Feel the sand between your toes on the golden, 2-mile beach at Westward Ho! (10 miles) and practice your favourite water sports at the Tamar Lakes (15 miles).

- 2 bathrooms – 1 bathroom with shower over bath and WC, 1 en-suite shower room with WC
- Electric oven and hob, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, microwave, Nespresso coffee machine with milk frother, bread-making machine (complimentary bread mix provided) and washer/dryer
- Highchair and travel cot provided upon request
- TV with DVD player in lounge
- Enclosed garden and patio with outdoor seating
- Charcoal BBQ provided upon request
- Full access to indoor play area, outdoor play area, gnome walking trail, additional woodland paths and animal enclosures which include alpacas, goats, pigs, chickens and a friendly goose – all sitting on 8 acres
