Set in a prominent position, this apartment has views directly over the idyllic town square. Open the private entrance door and you’ll find a welcoming hallway with space to leave boots and coats. A staircase then rises to the first floor. With Tudor origins and striking Georgian additions, this characterful property blends charming features with contemporary comforts. Immediately to your right is the light and bright lounge, with a coffee table, a decorative fireplace and a Smart TV. The large windows give a wonderful view of the town square and The Julia within its centre. Along the hall is a king-size bedroom dressed in Egyptian cotton linens and with easy access to a spacious bathroom. The bathroom has a separate bath, shower cubicle and WC, plus a utility area with a washing machine. The kitchen/diner is home to a stunning decorative fireplace dating to the Tudor period, a dining table for leisurely meals and a fully equipped kitchen. Heading back along the hallway and up a narrow flight of stairs will take you into the eaves of the building. Here you will find the two remaining bedrooms, a pretty king-size and a twin, also with Egyptian cotton bedding. The characterful old beams mean that there is low ceiling height in some areas of the upstairs bedrooms - this just adds to the overall charm, but please mind your head! Throughout the apartment, there are carefully sourced antique pieces sitting alongside striking contemporary fabrics, which create a welcoming home-from-home ambience.
The property has no dedicated outdoor space; however, there are attractive playing fields (with a skateboard park) and fields for dog walking just a few minutes’ stroll away. The town is surrounded by rolling countryside with many walking routes leading directly from the Square.
