Sehr freundliche Gastgeber, wobei man ansonsten ungestört ist und in Ruhe allen nötigen Komfort zur Selbstversorgung (Kühlschrank, Mikrowelle resp. Wasserkocher hat) samt Dusche/WC im eigenen Zimmer. Sehr gute Lage mit kurzem Weg zum Erlebnisbocksberg und wunderschönem Blick vom Fenster aus auf den Kurparksee. Beste Voraussetzungen, um mit dem sehr günstigen HATIX-Ticket (3 Euro pro Tag, zu entrichten in der Unterkunft als Tourismusabgabe) alle romantischen Städte und Sehenswürdigkeiten in den Landkreisen Goslar, Göttingen, Harz, Harz-Mansfeld zu erkunden, bis nach Quedlinburg, Lutter am Barenberge etc.

Det var som at træde ind i en tidslomme fra 70'erne. Men selvom huset bar præg af mange års brug, var det rent og pænt overalt. Værtinden var en oplevelse i sig selv. Hun talte ganske udmærket engelsk og gjorde det gerne både meget og længe. Så det tog det meste af en halv times tid at tjekke ind, fordi hun lige ville informere om ALLE byens faciliteter og restauranter. Både dem, der var værd at besøge, og dem, man burde holde sig fra.
Turistskatten skal betales ved ankomsten. Og man skal være forberedt på, at hotellet KUN tager imod kontanter. Byen i sig selv er hurtigt overset og faktisk lidt småkedelig.

The location is beautiful. The experience was OK at best but there were niggles in every other aspect. Example, the lighting in the bathroom was really dim; and the water drain in the bathing area was blocked. The room could be great in Winters but in summers not so much. The stay was calm and pleasant though!!
It was clean and organized. Easy to access even with public transport. Calm and pleasant.
