Westbahnhof Apartments Top 1

We had a pleasant stay here as a group of 6 people. The location is definitely one of the biggest advantages – it is very close to Westbahnhof, with excellent public transport connections, shops and restaurants nearby. It was very convenient for exploring Vienna. The apartment was clean, comfortable enough for our group and having six separate beds was a big plus. The check-in process was also straightforward and communication with Milka was generally good. We can definitely recommend!! :)))

Milka was friendly and polite, and we appreciated her communication with us at first. One small disappointment was that our request to move to another available apartment with a terrace could not be accommodated, even though the apartment was completely empty and not being used during our stay. She did not answer our WhatsApp message about our request. When I later asked her in person, she again simply said NO and told us to smoke upstairs on the terrace. Her attitude during this conversation was quite strict and final. We expected a little more understanding, especially because my father has a disability and had to go all the way upstairs every time he wanted to smoke. We felt that moving us to the empty apartment with the terrace would have been a simple solution. Also one thing worth mentioning is that the main entrance door to the building was in quite poor condition and did not feel very secure. This was probably the biggest negative aspect of our stay but i'm sure they will soon renovate the door. But overall, we enjoyed our stay and think this is a good budget option for larger groups, especially because of the excellent location. We would definitely consider staying here again, next time the apartment with the terrace when visiting Vienna again.

Das Apartment wurde für meinen Vater während eines Städtetrips gebucht. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich den ausgesprochen freundlichen und hilfsbereiten Check-in. Das Personal hat sich sehr engagiert und meinen Vater trotz einiger Herausforderungen geduldig und professionell betreut. Das Zimmer selbst habe ich nicht gesehen, mein Vater war mit seinem Aufenthalt jedoch sehr zufrieden.

Es gab nichts Wesentliches zu beanstanden.

The location was great, being less than a 5 min walk to Westbahnhof station was perfect, and there were plenty of grocery options to choose from at the station, which we took full advantage of.

Though the bathrooms are private, they are a decent walk away from the bedroom and not attached. This is something we weren't expecting. The temperature was also very irregular in the bathrooms, and they were quite muggy and damp with no ventilation.

Room was as it’s shown in the photos, so it was exactly what we were expecting. It was enough for just resting in the room and spending the time outside and discovering the city (Location is great, very close to Westbahnhof, Mariahilfer Straße, there is even 24/7 open supermarket in the train station). Private bathroom was functional as well. Considering the price segment, it is okay if you just want a private room and bathroom for your stay in Vienna.

There was a heavy damp smell in the corridors and in the bathroom. The air conditioning was not sufficient at all. When you come back to your room, it’s pretty hot and it takes so much time for air conditioner to make the temperature a little milder, but it never gets cool unless you open the window early in the morning. It was not dirty, neither clean. You could see the remnants of previos guest in the room and bathroom unfortunatelly.
