Spacious apartment close to the water in a nice neighborhood. The bed is big and comfortable.

This apartment was not cleaned well between guests. When we first arrived I could see hairs scattered throughout the apartment. The kitchen had a sticky film on the surfaces, and I had to scrub the kettle inside and out as there was a white, gloopy, glue-like substance all over the bottom in addition to the sticky exterior. One of the towels was stained with dirt so we had to share the other one for the week. The apartment is really missing all the little touches that would make it complete. A shelf to put your things in the shower, a bath mat, a kitchen towel, two wine glasses instead of just one, cooking utensils - things like that. The apartment also doesn’t come with anything, so you need to buy your own salt and pepper, dish soap, toilet paper, laundry detergent, garbage bags, hand soap, paper towels, etc. This feels pretty wasteful when you can get enough soap to last months for almost no money. The shower is half broken and I again saw hairs from previous guests stuck to the side. There’s an oven but there’s no bakeware in the apartment that can actually go in the oven. The limited items in the kitchen are just a random mix of what was in the back of someone’s old cupboard at home. There is a single small pan for the stovetop which is completely black, dented, and heavily scratched. It would not cost the owners a lot to actually fix these issues, it felt like they didn’t put thought into the comfort of the guests here and just want to make more money from the place
