Hotel Belvedere

The breakfast was fantastic, the accommodation is beautiful in general

We stayed in an accessibility room (was supposed to be a double bed) the bed were 2 pushed together and were different heights and so wasn't the same as a double so should have been advertised as a twin, wasn't comfortable sadly

poorly run & rundown hotel, this was not a pleasant stay and was our worst hotel experience of travelling 3500km around Europe. First off, I’m not a complainer and waited to hear back from the manager regarding my stay, however the main person whom i wished to complain about, Sabrina, conveniently did the ‘investigating’ and found no problem or poor service admission and ignored all follow up requests to be put i to contact with the hotel manager. So to sum up our stay; we arrived and we asked receptionist Sabrina, if we needed to Book a table, Sabrina informed us we did not need to. We arrived at the restaurant and were told by a staff member that there was a german coach trip in and that we would have to wait till they were served. A little upset by this, we said ok as long as it wasn’t an hour wait. We ordered a drink, it did not arrive, i had to ask a further THREE times to 3 different staff and waited over 30 minutes to arrive. We also had to wait an hour till we could order food, due to the prioritisation of the German bus trip! Food finally arrived and the food was of low quality, then the young waiter smashed Our carafe of beer. We attempted several times to complain to Sabrina at reception but the desk was not manned, the time Sabrina WAS at reception in the evening, Sabrina was too busy flirting with who seemed to be her boyfriend To attend to guests. Again we attempted to raise this to Sabrina in the morning, however she was too busy laughing and joking with the same boy who was not staff, from the previous evening so we left. In addition to the poor service, the air-conditioning did not work, the shower doors were hanging off their runners, we had to hold them on whilst we showered & the wall hairdryer instantly smoked & burnt; very dangerous and concerning, see photos.

Very nicely decorated, the pool was amazing and the view was gorgeous. Only a 2km walk to the lake.
