Chic apartment with a stunning relaxation vibes

The location was within walking distance to many restaurants, supermarkets and a gym.

I requested early check-in prior arrival (the day before). The owner said it would be ok. I confirmed the check-in time with him. He called me at my checking time when I was on my way to the apartment to tell me the apartment was not ready. I offered to go to a cafe and wait but I was told by the father that the apartment is ready. I asked if he was sure because his son, the owner said it was not ready. The father said it was ready. I did not know that my early check in request justified the apartment not being clean, as this was the excuse the owner gave me when I informed him. I was also told it was cleaned 2 days prior and the dust is due to the construction next door. I do not think this is true. All windows were shut and the dirt on the floors and counters was excessive. The owner sent his brother to clean, he did not do a good job. When I first arrived, air conditioning was only available in 1 room. The owner did install a unit in the other bedroom with the queen bed the next day. The apartment also has large roaches likely due to the construction next to the building. The pool was not clean and available for use while I was there. If the owner mentions a damaged mirror in his response. I accidentally cracked the mirror because I used a broom trying to smash one of the large roaches on the bathroom. I reported the damage myself. He charged me $50 for a mirror that was taped to the wall. I was made to feel like a complainer for asking that the apartment be clean and as described in the offering on Booking.com. The owner said I complained too much.
