Cave Luxury Villas Skiathos

Upon arriving at the Villa we were absolutely blown away, the view and the outdoor area were spectacular, something you'd dream of. We enjoyed the layout having 2 bedrooms/2 bathrooms/and a kitchen on each floor. There is no access between the two floors inside of the villa, so in theory there are two apartments on top of one another. This was great for our group as we were 2 families, so we all had our own space. I'm aware it may not be for everyone but we loved it! The cleaner is absolutely phenomenal, everyday she got the villa spotless, new towels, loaded the dishwasher etc. really went above and beyond, shes is a credit to the villas. Pool was lovely and spotless. Great bbq area, nice seating areas, really was a joy to spend time out there.A 10 minute walk down into Troulos, (uphill, i wouldn't fancy it, definitely get a car 👍), lovely beach there and plenty tavernas. Communication was great and painless. Would absolutely stay here again if a couple of small changes were made which I will mention below.

Such silly small things let the villa down, i think more attention to detail is needed. One toaster didn't work on arrival (it was replaced), one kettle between the two kitchens. Having to pass it between the 2 apartments became a pain. Barely any cups and cutlery in the upstairs apartment of the villa. Out of the 4 bathrooms, only one of the shower heads would hook high on the wall, the other 3 were broken. So they had to be held by hand. Please get some form of shower curtains, whenever anyone had a shower the bathrooms became wet all over, i really don't understand this. Beds were really hard and the mattress was of a poor standard, although it may suit some people, These are all really small inexpensive changes that could take the villa from a 7 to a 10. Similar comments are mentioned in the reviews unfortunately. Someone mentioned pool tiles coming off, while it isn't ideal It's really not a deal breaker, our kids actually enjoyed diving to collect the loose ones from the bottom of the pool. The pool will need an overall shortly, daily new tiles were becoming loose. Our biggest issue was with the pool/gardener (with the little purple fiat 500) he really made everyone feel uncomfortable. Storming around at any little inconvenience, when mentioning the toaster was broke on arrival, he walked off in a bad mood complaining that tourists break everything in broken English. Day one the patio doors came off the sliding rail, he absolutely blew his top having a go at us. Its clearly obvious the door has had previous problems, you could see where it had been catching over a long period. Again i think poor maintenance led to the situation. It was then repaired swiftly in a fashion, 4 days later it happened again. Today it nearly ended in tears for everyone when the pool guy had a huge go at us about it again. He either needs to be less vocal/stressed or be replaced, hes a bad representation for your company. Everyone else was brilliant i must say!

Property was very clean. Cleaner came everyday, fresh towels etc. Bedrooms and pool all good!

Really need a car, villa on top of a steep hill. If you have a car no problem at all.
