Penny Royal Guest Cottages

The rooms are extremely spacious! There is also netflix so you can cuddle up on the very comfortable couch and indulge in some tv. Also a little kitchen which has everything you need. And even a little dining table!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Penny Royal this weekend. The French-inspired design truly sets this place apart — from the elegant décor to the thoughtfully curated details, everything felt refined yet warm and inviting. The scenery is simply breathtaking, with the Helderberg hills providing a peaceful and picturesque backdrop that made it easy to relax and unwind. A special mention must go to Johann, who was an exceptional host. He was incredibly welcoming, attentive, and genuinely kind, making our stay feel both comfortable and personal. His hospitality really elevated the entire experience. We thoroughly enjoyed every moment and would highly recommend Penny Royal to anyone looking for a beautiful, tranquil escape.

What didn’t we like? Honestly, the only downside was not being able to stay longer. Having to pack up and return to reality after such a peaceful, beautiful escape felt like the real disappointment! 😃
