Peace House Isonoura

My first hostel outside the busy Osaka and I did not have any expectations. The host Steve was super friendly, as well as the rest of the staff and honestly they became all friends to me in the time I had at the peacehouse. Met some really nice people which I later traveled with. In general my days existed of surfing, star gazing, some drinking, fresh fish, beach walks, playing cards, playing music, roasting fish on the bbq, nice conversations with so many people... great times. Most people I met there extended their stays at least once and once friend up to 5 times lol. I guess that's a pro.

There is not that much todo in Wakayama city itself or the surrounding neighborhoods. A lot of fresh fish, and Wakayama castle, but if you want city live I'd recommend smth like Osaka. So you have to make your own party as to say - but ask Steve, he knows things to do!

とても綺麗でした！とにかくロケーションがよく自然に癒されました。充電器やお茶などフリーで使えるものが多くてありがたかった。

となりの団体さんの話し声が賑やかすぎて夜や早朝は気になりました。

駐車場もあり、古い家をとてもオシャレに改装されてました。 電話しても電話はつながらないのですが メールの返信はあります。 メールは全て英語で、チェックインの時だけ 日本語が出来るスタッフが宿の案内してくれました。 入口にもシャワーがあり 海から上がって すぐシャワーもでき ボディボードなども無料で貸し出しもありました。歩いてすぐに 海水浴場もあり 立地がとても良いです。波が高いので、車で １０分位にある加太海水浴場に行きました。

スタッフが悪いとかではなく、サンダルが間違えられたのか 一足なくなり、車の駐車場で乾かしてた 水着のズボンが１枚無くなりました。
