Comfortable Victorian Terrace close to shops

Location location location! So well situated, close to cafes and most importantly EV chargers! Lovely home, full of character, it was winter and there were lots of heaters to keep cosy. Welcomed with snacks, plus bread, butter and eggs in the fridge which were a lovely perk. Highly recommend.

Location was great, walking distance to the train station and plenty of on-street parking. Three rooms were quaint, big enough for 2 adults each, and the main upstairs bedroom enough to sleep an infant (<2yrs). We were fully expecting to spend a cold evening in the heart of Lithgow, but the host had prepared heaters and heated blankets in all rooms - just make sure the first person awake in the morning turns the living room gas heater on!

While overall clean enough, areas that could have been improved was cleaning under the seats in the living room and the upstairs balcony. The stairs are very narrow and sharp, but that’s unlikely to change, so be warned! One of our group (in their 70s) didn’t feel comfortable using them.

Overall, it was clean & tidy. It was a short walk to shops, and the kitchen was well-equipped. The bed was comfortable, and bed linen & towels were of good quality.
